Ode to the Greek economy

Winning or losing 

nothing shall stick 

as the strong behold the weak

and the powerless shall fall apart

and the strong shall be foretold 

thou too shall fall down 

for the old truth stands 

and as chains, strength is measured 

so shall you when the time comes 

behold ! 

when the weakest cannot hold

crisis crawls much closer to the greatest of the world.

Today, tomorrow, 

maybe later

the weak shall be forced to choose

and one way or the other 

they shall lose. 

If only the strongest chose a different path 

if only they kept the promise of a union

that seeks to protect the weakest human

regardless of his past

if only leaders truly fought 

for compassion 

for brotherhood 

for the betterment of the entire human race 

maybe, when looking in the mirror 

we would not look away

seeing our disgrace. 

Truth has been foretold

and sooner than ya think

as the weakest will not hold

so will you see the cracks coming 

deep into your world.
